Mah Jongg Corner Files for Download

Welcome to the Mah Jongg Corner download page. Here, there are many files that should be useful to folks who use my Tileman program. Look around and take what you want. Enjoy!
PLEASE NOTE: DUE TO A RESTRICTION IMPOSED BY GEOCITIES, ALL THE FILES WITH LZH EXTENTS ON THIS PAGE HAVE BEEN RENAMED WITH THE ZIP EXTENSION. THEREFORE, ANY FILES (EXCEPT LHA255.ZIP) DOWNLOADED FROM THIS PAGE WILL HAVE TO BE RENAMED TO CHANGE THE EXTENTS BACK TO LZH. THIS IS A SIMPLE THING TO DO. MAKE SURE THAT ALL THE SO-CALLED ZIP FILES ARE IN A DIRECTORY BY THEMSELVES, THEN, AT THE DOS PROMPT TYPE THIS COMMAND: ren *.zip *.lzh THIS WILL RENAME ALL THE FILES WITH THE ZIP EXTENTS BACK TO THEIR ORIGINAL LZH EXTENSIONS. I APOLOGIZE FOR THIS BUT IT COULDN'T BE HELPED.

Mah Jongg Tilesets

These files are in LHA compressed format, ready to be used by Tileman. If you need to extract files from an archive, then you must have access to the LHA compression program. You may download a copy of Ver 255 from this page. I have split up the larger files into 4 smaller files for ease of download and to allow new users to take a small file to familiarize with. Each of the smaller files contains about 50 tilesets. The large files are available also. They each contain around 200 tilesets.

LHA Compression Program


This compressed file contains 3 files: 2 documentation files and the executable "lha255.exe".
It takes a little getting used to but for a quick introduction, run the program without any
parameters and you will get the help screen. Do a print screen to get a hard copy for
reference. If you still don't understand some of the parameters, go to the full documentation.

Mah Jongg for Windows Tilesets

Like the Mah Jongg tilesets, these files are split into smaller files and large files. Also,
they are in the LHA compressed format. The file size of these tilesets is twice as large
as the Mah Jongg sets (64K vs 33k). Wintile1 & 2 are the large files ( > 800K ). The others
are 400-650K in size. Wintile3-6 contain all the files in Wintile1 & 2.
