About Grandpa
Dick...
After serving with the
Army in Korea as an Infantry Sergeant, Grandpa Dick became a
police officer in San Luis Obispo, California, continuing in law
enforcement most of his career.
Working through the ranks
to Detective, Sergeant, and Lieutenant, kids were always a prime
interest. He and his wife (of 49 years) have raised a son and a
daughter, enjoyed four granddaughters, and are now having a ball
with a four year old great grandson. By the way, they all have
enjoyed his stories.
He hopes to have his
stories published as short story books so more kids can enjoy
them and learn the lessons each tale carries.
