Windows ME:
From your desktop (the starting screen when you first start your computer). Click on your "Start Button", run your mouse up to Settings then click on "Dial-Up Networking".
2. Windows 95, 98 & ME:
Find the icon that is used to access Surfari.Net, this is called several different things, Surfari Internet Providers, Surfari, etc. If you have more than one Surfari Internet Icon, it is best to remove all but one for use on the service to avoid confusion.
Once you have found the icon, click it once with your "right" mouse button, then, using your "left" mouse button, click on the option called "Properties" at the bottom of the pop-up menu. (note this will be the only time you use the "right" mouse button for this)
Locate the phone number on the first screen that comes up called "General". You will see a white text area under the name of "Telephone Number". Click in that area with your mouse (once) and delete whatever is in there using your backspace key or delete key. Once you have removed the old phone number, type in the new number. You can locate the number you need for your location HERE .
3. When you are finished entering in the new number, click the "Ok" button at the bottom of the window, close all the windows that you may have opened and you should be set!
